One of my reading students shared this with me today.  It reminded how Bea always said that she wanted to be famous.  Yes, I remember that.  I may not know your teachers’ names anymore, but I know what makes your heart sing.  The Script featuring Will.i.am offers you this song tonight.  It’s called “Hall of Fame.”  You may find fame isn’t all it’s cracked up to be or you may feel blessed by so much responsibility to be there for other people.  Fame can be a gift or a curse.   Be sure you want it for the right reasons.  My student, we’ll call her Azziza, said “This song makes me feel like I can do anything.”  So sweet sister – you can as long as you have a plan, you work the plan and refuse to give up.  And don’t forget to take your big sister out to a big fancy dinner when you are all grown up and famous!
