This song is a little sad, but the words are beautiful.  The idea of being so loved and held by the angels is such an enchanting one.  Lots of metaphors in this song.  Remember, metaphors are when a writer is comparing two things: dark, cold hotel room = the painful place you are stuck in (but they don’t use the words “like” or “as.”
